MONOLAB.Now An Oslo,Norway based Project. Started it's Life In the Beautiful town of West Bromwich,deep in the heart of the West Midlands.producing experimental / electronic "Space Music".  occasionally working with other like minded musicians for gigs & collaborations.using mainly old 70's/80's analogue synths+old effects units,electronic toys & games.old computers.some new equipment being used in the studio (ie samplers/pc's) anything which added to and built up the sound. (tape delays, feedback, noise).experimentation being the keyword.
MONOLAB. is the solo electronic project of Martin Powell and has been in existence since 1992.   recording much but releasing very little..
Similarities Have been made with the following bands over the years:-                                                          Sonic Boom's E.A.R Project, Add N To X, Space Machine, and the eraly works of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
